About AquA Lucid'Or  

AquA Lucid'Or is a music project that was initiated by Viola Nordström in 2015. AquA Lucid'Or features an exciting, modern revival of classic guitar rock music with metal influences. Her music is inspired by classic rock artists and metal bands, amongst others by Guns 'n' Roses, W.A.S.P., Manowar, and Rammstein, but also by The Eagles, David Bowie, R.E.M., and Coldplay. 

In everyday life, she is an extremely passionate neuroscientist, but she also devotes a great share of her mind and heart to creating music. In autumn 2017, AquA Lucid'Or released the first singles "Energy" and "On The Horizon".

AquA Lucid'Or - From Recital to Rock  

"My interest in music was sparked quite some years ago I was an active member in  semi-professional choirs, amongst them the "Camerata Vocale Hannover". I took private vocal lessons and was originally trained as a classical contralto. I had successful debuts in a recital and federal classical music competitions. Additionally, and driven by an intense curiosity, I have taught myself the fundamentals of rock guitar and home recording.

I always found that songwriting is the perfect way of channeling my own emotions. Moreover, it is one of the most powerful means to inspire other people. I have a vision that by reflecting the listeners´ emotions and experiences, music opens a door to their minds and hearts."
